4. There are two sets of nurses: those on the front lines, and those who have been furloughed.

It makes one wonder how long "non-essential" medical care be put off before it turns into something worse.

Is the guy who just needed a few stitches in his hand going to show up in the hospital later losing an arm to gangrene?
