5. I believe it's a Western Red Cedar. We're surrounded by them in my neighborhood.

Beautiful, bushy, and feathery! And they grow to be QUITE tall! This new one came from a neighbor’s garden and given to me. It’s pretty small at the moment.

I was pulling weeds at the side of the house a couple of days ago, and as I cleared a lot of it I found several itty-bitties that seem to have taken root on their own. Not sure they should grow there, but they look like they could be transplanted!

The more trees, the better, for me anyway. I’ve planted three new ones myself, and had another two put in also.
