Worst night of my life outside the death of my dad. After my husband told me to “relax because it can’t be that bad”...(yeah, I know.) I spent the next few hours in my car, listening to returns and crying/screaming off and on. Election night was only outweighed by the next morning. I remember feeling physically ill and mentally foggy like I was a horrible dream the whole next day. I couldn’t go to work. DU was hacked too so that only added to the feelings of isolation and despair.

I think keeping commitments low and self care is key to managing this stress. I truly believe we will win this election. MF45 will make the weeks following the election very painful for all of us. We will get there, however.
