While called MTV it actually was a BLM rally/MTV.

On the way to the polls they stopped for speeches, etc. They had a permit for the rally but apparently blocked and occupied a street that was not part of the permit.

From there you have police saying they refused to clear the street and rally leaders saying they complied. That's where the confrontation occurred.

Meanwhile people manning the polls said there was no interruption for anyone who went to the actual polling place.
