7. Might be no one wants it.

I was scheduled for a colonoscopy next week, but after seeing how lax that office is with masks, I got too scared. One of my other docs suggested waiting until February or March, when the medical staffs will be vaccinated. When I called to change my appointment, the lady I talked to said I could change it, but it won't matter because no one in the office is going to vaccinated. She certainly is not going to. I was too shocked to ask why.

Then she proceeded to tell me that people in Walmart aren't wearing masks and that's just stupid. The irony.

So I'm not going until March at this point. In case people chime in to say I should go somewhere else, it's really not an option. We have limited choices here and traveling for a colonoscopy would be difficult, to put it mildly. So I get to choose between possibly dying from Covid and possibly dying from colon cancer.

Another of my docs told me that many of the medical offices in this area have Covid in them. Yet they don't want the vaccine.

So where do we go from here?
