(11,535 posts)24. I completely agree that he was hamstrung by the most obstructionist Congress in history.
Passing the ACA in that climate was little short of a miracle. I just found his demeanour and speech to be on the conciliatory side for what I'd hoped would be a fiery progressive.
And don't get me wrong, I still admire him greatly, but I've actually been almost shocked that President Biden has this much fight in him. As I tried to convey, *some* more accomplishment can seem like less when your expectations are high, and vice versa.
