Chauvin's ex-wife, a real estate agent and photographer,[71] is a Hmong refugee from Laos who competed in a "Mrs. Minnesota" beauty pageant in 2018.[72][73] She filed for divorce the day before he was arrested for Floyd's death,[74][68][75] and it was approved in February 2021.[76]

I hope she's able to move on with her life.
