5. AND he called the police!

I just read her review on yelp:

"Please do not stay here.
I traveled over spring break with my friend and 5 kids total. We reserved two rooms for two nights. The first night after we had just gone to bed, the toilet started overflowing and the bathroom was flooding. The room phone didn't have a front desk option so I ran down to the front desk at the adjacent hotel. The crown choice front desk wasn't staffed. The man behind the counter asked me if turned the shut off valve off. I said no I'm coming to you for help. I didn't want to do it wrong or wade through flooding water. He proceeded to get irate with me. He called the police and said he was charging me with malicious destruction of property. He verbally harassed me (which I have videos publicly posted on Facebook). He said we needed to pack our bags and leave, so at midnight two moms and five kids were left with nowhere else to go that is not owned by this same family. We tried Holiday Inn express but they were full - but the front desk employee desperately tried to accommodate us. We ended up driving south to Gaylord for the night.
The hotel itself is filthy and in disrepair. We wouldn't allow our kids to walk in the room without shoes on.
Please do your research before staying/dining/shopping in Mackinaw City."

The photos from other reviewers show that the place is absolutely disgusting. There are also some not-so-bad reviews, which just goes to show the different standards people have.
