Gadfly behavior is not a way to build coalitions, find common ground, or make progress through compromise. It only creates resentment and distrust. It's divisive and it ultimately weakens the party and the Democratic administration. This in turn only serves to embolden and make things easier for the GOP.

All I'm saying is that this is NOT how to get things done. It's so obvious. Why would anyone continue to pursue this path?
