in comparison Butterfield, my Congressman won by 9. we did better in the 9th and 10th. NC will gain a seat, and we are currently split 8 to 5 in favor of the GOP. The GOP has publicly stated that they will gerrymander 10 to 4, and they have complete power since the governor has no role in redistricting. Our Democratic supreme court may make them redraw but they will get one election with those seats at a minimum. The last time it took us 4 elections to get a fair redraw.
