True. But I think it will solve many of our problems. I've had a lot of experience over the last 5 years dealing with the mental health system. There is a LOT of room for improvement.

Is there a discussion group on this specific topic? I have read a library on this issue, trying to get a handle on what was happening some people very close to me. I read to understand them, to understand the system, to learn how to support them. One of the most disturbing things I learned early on was how the mentally ill are so easily criminalized and/or end up in the criminal justice system. I fought hard so many times to make sure my people were not pulled into that system.

Anyway, I do indeed have all the answers (ha ha) and I just need to know where to share them.
