9. What if you are wrong?

I believe that Occam's Razor applies here. The reason that everything we know about the insurrection is coming from reporters is because they are the only people who are looking for evidence. I hope I am wrong because our democracy is in worse shape right now than it was on 1/6 and nothing, I repeat nothing has been done in 11 months to hold the insurrectionist leaders accountable.

The select committee can prove everything it is trying to prove from Donald Trump on down and it will make zero difference in saving our democracy unless DOJ acts.

If S1 is not passed we will have a near impossible task to keep the House and a 50-50 chance to keep the Senate. Look at what Wisconsin and Michigan are doing right now. Look at what Texas already did. Look at what all states controlled by the GQP are going to do, ensure minority rule for generations.
