45. Reflects my sense, feelings and logical conclusion

exactly. There is absolutely no good reason to not be concerned about whether DOJ is pursuing anything meaningfully or effectively to thwart those who would usurp democracy — none. The absence of even a scintilla of evidence that DOJ is effectively investigating or taking steps to hold those who perpetrated 1/6 accountable provides every reason to be concerned, impatient and skeptical. What I do know is that thus far, no meaningful accountability has been achieved for those who orchestrated the criminal acts involved in two consecutive national elections. Yeah, a few key players were indicted and convicted during Mueller, but every single one of them is free and operating to undermine our democracy right now — that’s certainly not meaningful accountability by any stretch.

To say we should be patient in the face of what we actually do know — not a scintilla of evidence that anything is going on, the failures thus far to achieve accountability, and a ticking time bomb strikes me as quite naive frankly. Far better that we continue to express deep concern, impatience and even anxiety and anger about the seeming lack of urgency if necessary to keep pressure on Garland and the DOJ.

Yep, seems to be business as usual, until proved otherwise by the DOJ, which I hope is the case, ... RKP5637 Dec 2021 #1
