won't have an interim report until next summer, with plan to release a final report in fall.

They are going to have public hearings, although nothing has been scheduled yet. I was hoping to see some real action right after the first of the year, & have kept myself hopeful, but if the committee doesn't finish until fall, Garland won't have time to do anything before the election. If we lose the house, the investigation is over.
DiFi is on record as saying that she doesn't think that democracy is in danger. Perhaps that's a more prevalent attitude among dem leaders than we think. ???
I'm trying really hard not to be demoralized by this story.
