Chewy carries a noise generator which has several diffrent sounds - not as many as some noise generators, but I use it for myself and all need is white noise. It is very sturdy, can be hung on a hook or peg, The battert is recharged through aUSB cord; I got nan adapter plug to keep it connected to house currant at all times.

have used a noise genrator to sleep since I was 20 (76now) and I can testify that they can block noises which are louder than they are. That might not go all the way up to even dynamite, but it does wotk for normal gunshots even if they are quite close. I lived for about a year (in the early nineties) in an apartment building where apparently there were not infrequent gunshots - I didn't know it until I moved out and someone mentioned it as apossible reason for my moving. HUbs had not heard any either. We were both astonished.

I have no pets but shop at Chewy when possible because they are just such nice people.
