While I am sure there is more empathy among some whites for the plight of Ukraine, Ukraine stands between Russia and NATO and Russia has been trying to take over the continent since the days of Stalin.

While other countries may want to influence Ethiopia, Sudan, South Sudan, I don't think any of the superpowers want to actually annex these countries.
