Beliefs say,while they admit the suffering
Denial about how trauma hurts you in the name of "strength" does not help either.
I dissociate a lot,so I am pretty damn detached.

Mindfulness which some swear by is a practice but it has its limits. Sometimes certain injuries or traumas make it impossible except for intermittent short periods its not a cure,at best its a bandaid.
Some people have better band aids than others. Mindfulness is a psychologists trend right now,before it was recovered memories etc. Every generation has its psychological band aids and trends that over time get changed.

Making resilience where it's not that is basically a mind fuck that says what dosen't kill me
Makes me stronger...that approach only goes so far
Until it too becomes a farce.

I'll give you really something to cry about
or what about people sicker than you are.. that mind game never works.

Basically the treatment for trauma sucks.

Everyone is different what helps one doesn't help another.

And so far there is no cure for some that suffer trauma. Because certain types of trauma are easier to deal with. Does not mean what helps you will help me. But so many people push this idea it has become rigid.. It's so much like the rich guy saying I was too poor like you and I got rich this way,so do it like me and you will get rich too,bullshit. That what's good for the goose is good for the gander is horseshit too.

I wish there was an answer. We as a species isnt there yet. And there is so much of it tied up in belief systems.

The people rescuing animals do thier part to reduce trauma in the animal world. They do a good thing.
