say that IUDs cause abortions because they prevent fertilized eggs from implanting. More recently, they are saying that birth control pills have the same effect. Diaphragms are used with spermicides, so they are "tantamount to murder."

Yes, opposition to these forms of birth control is not new, but now they are trying to make contraception illegal.
