Don't believe Billy ever played with FZ. This is good synchronicity, though -- there was a nice feature on CBS Sunday Morning today about the new Beatles documentary put together by Peter Jackson, featuring some wonderful footage of Billy Preston playing Fender Rhodes electric piano on "Get Back." He was like 20 at the time.

I actually saw this version of the Mothers one time -- absolutely incredible. They played "Inca Roads" before it had been released on record, with George Duke on keybaords and vocal. Nice!
