This is the title page:

UNIFORM ACT TO SECURE THE ATTENDANCE OF WITNESSES FROM WITHOUT A STATE
IN CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS
Drafted by the
NATIONAL CONFERENCE OF COMMISSIONERS ON UNIFORM STATE LAWS
at its
FORTY-FIRST ANNUAL CONFERENCE ATLANTIC CITY, NEW JERSEY SEPTEMBER 8 – 14, 1931
and as revised at its
FORTY-SIXTH ANNUAL CONFERENCE BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS AUGUST 17 – 22, 1936
in cooperation with
THE INTERSTATE COMMISSION ON CRIME
WITH EXPLANATORY STATEMENT
Approved and Recommended for Enactment in All the States by the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws And by the Interstate Commission on Crime
Approved by the American Bar Association at its Meeting in Atlantic City, New Jersey, September 17–19, 1931
And Reapproved
At its Meeting in Boston, Massachusetts, August 24–28, 1936

It’s meaningless until and unless it’s actually adopted by a legislature and signed into law. Even then, there can be conflict of law issues if the other state has different laws on the subject.

Did Georgia enact it? Did South Carolina? rsdsharp Aug 2022 #1
