66. Apt comparison, but not for the reasons you think

Durham was able to work independently and unimpeded across two administrations. The fact that he was on an actual “Witch Hunt” that came up empty handed doesn’t diminish the power and protected autonomy of a special counsel- and that’s what a lot of folks are missing about Smith.
