May Photo Contest Final vote thread

14. Every contest is so difficult.

My final vote lways comes down to pure selfish reasoning. What would I buy to hang on my wall? This round? The hummingbird. We are hummingbird central. We have feeders and baths. Every day is a hummingbird Nat. Geo. Film with my tea. I see our Annas feed and bathe, the Rufus will be here soon. Constant entertainment.

We also have a woodpecker colony. The interaction between them, the Jay's and squirrels is something else!

We live next to a greenway, which is recovering from the Almeda fire. We now have deer, turkey and geese, right out our front deck. I have So many horrible pictures of magnificent creatures! Lol

I have also altered a clowdrer of 11 Russian Blue cats. The mom and dad are definitely life mates. There are other males that also survived the fire, but she only mated with her other Russian. Her mate has fire damage on his face, but my goodness, he's a bulldog of a cat. His tail is busted in 2 places, you wouldn't believe what his ears and face look like. But since I trapped and got him neutered, he sleeps on the big heated bed on my porch now. 🥰 I'm making progress with them all, and hopefully we'll get forever homes for some.
