Vance Has a History of Disparaging Veterans' Service [View all]
During Vance's 2022 Senate Campaign, he went on a right wing radio show and made the now famous comment that he "....doesn't care what happens to Ukraine one way or the other."
Retired General Barry McCaffrey called Vance a stooge of Putin aggression. Vance fired back, accusing McCaffrey of drinking fine wine at security conferences and that McCaffrey might personally profit from a war with Russia.
Gen McCaffrey was awarded three Purple Hearts and two Silver Stars during his career.
