2. I don't know that they're terrified of women. They just buy the myth that women need to be controlled by men.

Extreme religionists like the Taliban, the Hasidim in Israel, and our extremist evangelicals have a view of women as lesser beings than men and have only two purposes in life—to provide sexual relief on demand for men and to be baby machines. I think perhaps they hate women because they have to go to them for their sexual needs and that somehow gives women power over them so the women need to be punished. Totally sick.
