A satisfying moment this morning

I was at the post office to send some mail, and as I exited, I saw a middle-aged man at the end of the sidewalk coming toward the door to come in. I started to hold the door open for him, but then noticed he was wearing a T-shirt that said “If you don’t like Tr**p, you probably won’t like me.” That tripped my trigger. I held the door until he was about five feet from it, then emphatically closed it; looked him square in the eyes and said, “You’re right!” As I stepped away, I added (in a slightly lower voice), “Idiot.” As I got in my car, I saw through the big window beside the door that he was giving me a nasty look, but I didn’t give a flying rooster. Was I rude? Yes. Was I happy about it? HELL, yes!
