Unlike the Civil Rights Movement and Gay Rights Movement, the Women's Movement has never had broad support from other groups. Maybe, beginning in 2013, that can change and those working on GBLT issues and those working on labor issues and Civil Rights issues and any number of other issues can join us in our fight as we join them in theirs. It would be a most welcome change. That being said, we have to be prepared to move forward on our own if that doesn't happen.
