13. That's depressing. We're giving all our personal information to employees of private companies.

And after never having been called by a telemarketer on my cell phone, I got my first telemarketing sales pitch on it on Tuesday, from some guy with an Indian accent who lied his ass off to me. So I went to my banks today and did a transaction check to make sure my identity had not been stolen. Everything was OK, but now I will constantly be wondering if someone (besides Experian) is out there selling my personal information.

I hope the these two distressing events are unrelated.

I'm sorry, but contracting all these ACA functions out to private corporations is bullshit. It's just plain wrong. The potential for identity theft is infinite. And I am upset at the government for exposing me to all this. This should all have been done by government employees working in a new, separate branch of government service dedicated strictly to administering the ACA.

Fuck.
