A tribute to *good* cops: Massachusetts

1. Lots of good cops out there.

When I was pulled over a few years ago in my old hometown of Kirlkland Washington I ran into a good cop.

I ran into a few bad ones first so let me tell you about them. I was driving along with my four year old daughter in the back seat and we were pulled over aggressively and surrounded by local police with hands on their weapons.

After checking us over the bad cops decided we were OK and drove off without explanation or apology.

Fortunately, the good cop was around to explain that our car resembled one which was used in a crime and that was what all the fuss was about. That really helped explain things to my daughter.
