14. Comedy Central Fills In For Our MSM, Which Is More Infotainment Than News Now

MSM asks virtually no hard questions and do very little follow up. More or less it's "one side says the earth is round, one says it's flat, we'll have to leave it there". False equivalency on parade.

Stewart, Colbert, and their brilliant writers skillfully expose the rampant hypocrisy in the US and elsewhere. Love Colbert's often used segment "The Word". Amazing that many conservatives thought Colbert was one of them, but then again they tend to be iron-y deficient.

I too wish they had been able to keep John Oliver and use him, he was awesome filling in for Stewart, but HBO has deep pockets. In the long run though, with the years piling up on Jon and his hair getting more gray, maybe once he leaves Oliver can take over for Stewart and keep the franchise going.

Already have my DVR set for Maddow's Thursday show, the cost of that ill advised war is staggering in dollars and lives lost and shattered. And - MSNBC has bloody hands from that period to be sure, they were cheerleaders for that war and fired their highest rated host because he dared question the rush to an unnecessary action.
