(39,215 posts)118. Went to Terri's staffing yesterday. She looks great except older. Each time I see her I notice that.
She was alert and happy . No more of the really bad type of seizure and blood levels for Dilantin seem to be stable. We are starting to track a new behavior that will be used to lobby for persons who are not deaf or blind but rely on signing to communicate. We have begun recognizing many more actions she uses to communicate her needs and as we talked about it we realized she uses them in both of the locations she spends her days. One interesting thing is that her primary physician says he envies Terri's labs as they are better than most of his patients. This despite the seizures.
She recognizes me by my voice since I often call and talk to her over the speaker phone.
