78. Our system has been gamed

by unscrupulous shysters who represent the wealthy elites at the cost of everyone else. They succeed by appealing to the worst fears and lowest instincts, and employing a Machiavellian strategy of pitting groups that should be aligned with one another against each other.
Bigotry trumping reality seems to be an American value that the media conveniently avoids.

The Republicans have seized this concept and used it to impose their immoral agenda on the vast majority of Americans.
The Supreme (mediocre) Court has been stacked in favor of the wealthy elites and has paved the road to a two tiered system of lords and serfs that essentially establishes a permanent underclass and eliminates a thriving middle class. The principles of the Founding Fathers have been perverted by a Court that has damaged this country and made us diminished for the benefit of billionaires like the Koch brothers.
