in fact given the opportunity I would pack the house and Senate elbow to elbow with people just like them, long before I send any of those people to the White House.
Only when Congress is packed to the gills with good solid leftists - or at least, left-of-center people, I'm not horribly picky - will I start casting about for someone to take the captain's chair. And whoever that is will not be extracted from the Legislature, because we need liberals making the fucking laws.
