Men experience more pleasure, anxiety than women during their "first time"

1. Suggests we're moving in the right direction

While it's probably unreasonable to expect someone's first time to ever be completely free of anxiety, the finding that the pleasure reported by women has increased through the years suggests we're headed in the right direction.

That said, one should note that the finding is largely specific to western hetero couples. I'd be interested to know how the experiences of homo and bisexuals differ or don't from the average.
