hear it. They think she's got this thing in the bag.

When DUers don't even understand the nuances of governance--and most of them also wrongly blame Obama/the Democrats--what do we think the average American sees who follows politics much less than we do?

In other words, if Democrats on a Democratic message board who are expected to be more politically sophisticated than the average American blames the wrong people for their circumstance, then how can we expect average Americans not to fall prey to corporate media memes?

I still hear people on DU assert than Obama enjoyed majorities in the House and Senate and yet, those same folk do not acknowledge that as a result of the 50 State Strategy, we elected Blue Dog conservatives to the party who are more inclined to side with Republicans on a host of issues or DLCers who are beholden to Third Way policies? They continue to assert that Democrats are a monolith, and thus Obama enjoying a majority in both houses should have won him victories, even though there's been unprecedented obstruction.

Again, if we have to fight day after day explaining these things to DUers, imagine how uninformed the average American is.

And when you're explaining, you're losing.
