Anyway, in response to your post: What would be your solution? What would you have us do?

Meanwhile, as GG and CG say above, the less gas costs, the more people who need the money for other purposes have for those purposes. Maybe they can actually pay the electric bill? Maybe they can have enough gas to get to the promising job interview? Maybe they can pay off an outstanding debt? Maybe they can fill that prescription they've gone a week without?

Shit! I don't know how it's a good thing. I do know this: It's ALL pretty fucked up!
