and support religious freedom, and then all of a sudden they can become more religious and sadly radicalized, and then blow away innocent people on a routine basis, it is difficult not to want to defend the lives of loved ones.

the Boston Marathon was destroyed by cheaply made bombs. No amount of gun control will stop the radical islamists from fulfilling their mission of killing anyone that does not believe in their religion - which happens to be islam.
