Not to mention that there are a lot of us who don't understand the need to advertise any sort of beliefs, political or otherwise, on the backs of our vehicles. Furthermore, those of us who live in right-wing hellholes certainly don't want to risk having our cars or trucks vandalized by putting putting a bumper sticker supporting ANY Democrat, be they Hillary, Bernie or Martin. The same goes for yard signs.

That being said, in my town, the childhood home of Lee Atwater, I have seen a grand total of: 1 Clinton, 1 Sanders, 1 Trump, 1 Carson, 1 Cruz, and a homemade "Huckabee/Palin" in huge letters on the back of a pick-up truck Read into that however you want. I think the relative lack of bumper stickers says a whole lot more.
