An American and Soviet citizen were talking in the park.

The American said, "In the US we have freedom of speech. I can stand at the gate of the White House and yell out, 'The president of the United States is an idiot!' and nothing will happen to me."

The Soviet citizen said, "In the Soviet Union we too have freedom of speech. I can stand at the gate of the Kremlin and yell out, 'The president of the United States is an idiot!' and nothing will happen to me."
