He earned his pension and is entitled to it.
He got a disability on the job and is entitled to whatever benefits were promised for that.

Separately, he may have civil liability for his actions. He could have had criminal liability, but apparently that's not being pursued. Sounds like he deserves to pay a civil penalty, but that doesn't mean not getting a pension. Different things.

When someone does something wrong, it's tempting to want every bad thing possible to happen to them, but only some are appropriate.

In this case, the victims deserve some compensation, but why should the employer get a win out of this?
