they fought like hell to revive him, even tho they knew he was out of the sweet spot to revive him. they got his heart going, had him on a ventilator, but his eeg was all over the place.
they made us wait several days to pull the plug while their did THEIR requisite number of tests.

and as someone else mentioned, people to get blood clots on those long flights. happened to a friend of mine. they didnt catch it right away, and he ended up pretty sick. but at least it didnt hit his heart.
