9. There should be a lot more of this from Democrats

It doesn't have to just be Sanders, although he does it better than anyone else.

Most people can tell the difference between a sales job and an honest discussion. The facts are on the side of the Democratic party. The idea that we need to match Republican propaganda or figure out how to more effectively push the "Democratic brand" is a downward spiraling strategy.

People who look at the success of the Republican marketing/propaganda strategy and think, well that's just the way it is now, we have no choice if we want to win, are selling short the idea of dogged honesty. Even if you resent Sanders, he's an example of how that can actually work.
