Tesla does not compete on that level with German automakers, it is way ahead of them in price, tech, and specs. BMW, Mercedes, et al, are having a hard time competing with the 2012 Model S, or the 2018 Model 3, never mind the 2021 S.

"Superior German Engineering" is all about squeezing life out of a dying technology, and poisoning us while they do it.
