In reply to the discussion: Family rescues kidnapped Duson woman, kills captor [View all]...the family did what they needed to do as the situation presented itself. Normally, no. You let law enforcement handle it since they're trained for these situations. However, that's not how this situation unfolded. Hats off to the family members for doing what needed to be done. Since this wasn't one of your close relatives, I guess it's just an academic exercise to you...ie. you don't care. Then again, maybe this is a rural, middle America thing, that you will never understand.
