The part when Ron Watkins said a little too much about himself, causing him and the interviewer to smile and laugh as Watkins then kept repeating he wasn't "Q", wasn't really a "smoking gun" for me. It was mostly the other evidence revealed in the series which convinced me that he was indeed "Q".
