when the regulations do not directly benefit them (by financial regulations I mean regulations that protect the ownership of wealth). They use Tarek al-Tayeb Mohamed Bouazizi, the Tunisian fruit seller who was harassed by the police for bribes and killed himself starting the arab spring uprisings, as an example of regulations hurting people. Fact is those police in Tunisia needed to be regulated to not ask for bribes and those regulations needed to be enforced. Tunisia needed more regulation not less.
