3. As usual, Senator Sanders was 100 percent correct and accurate in what he said.

The "news" anchors were condescending and belittling to what Sanders said, and they were totally wrong in their comments.

The Federal Reserve is totally political and its decisions and actions are based fully on what is best for Wall Street and the banks, rather than what is good for the economy.

Furthermore, starting with Greenspan's tenure as its chief, the Fed became one of the main architects of policies that legalized practices that led to the bank fraud that is collapsing the world's economies and destroying the middle class.

Greenspan promoted repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act which had prevented so-called investment banks from taking over commercial banks and using those banks' deposits to finance mergers, acquisitions, and hostile takeovers of what were at one time competitive companies.

Greenspan's claim about not foreseeing the results of his policies is absurd.
