Dude, it should not be the business of pundits to help somebody stay in character while that person shills. The real thing to be disgusted by here is that, assuming the accusation is true, Mika and Joe are just now saying something relevant that happened during the campaign.

If KellyAnne is stupid enough to say how she really feels to people who should have a vested interest in reporting it, that's her bad.

On the other hand, if it is typical for news pundits to be so chummy with the political spokes-people, that they can be expected to let them say one thing on camera and another off it without repercussions, that's an entirely different problem that speaks to just how incestuous our news media is with Washington.
