My favorite albums are Live Dead (Skull and Roses) and Bear's Choice.

The sonic clarity on Live Dead was really amazing given the state of audio technology in 1971. They were firing on all 8 cylinders in that show.

Bears Choice was also live, but was one of my favorites because Ron McKernan was playing and singing at his best.
