Once you get them trained a certain way, they stick to it. She has her feeding ritual; the bowl comes up onto the counter and gets filled. She must sit, and give us a paw. Then the bowl goes to the floor. Gobble, gobble, gobble. She is an enthusiastic eater. She is also trained to let us play with her food while she is eating. I think this is important, this is a time where dogs are most aggressive. She continues eating while I stir her food. I do this about every other week, Im always nervous- its like playing with a running chainsaw.
