2. It happened to me exactly once

I was desperately smitten with Lee Remick after “No Way To Treat A Lady” and “Telefon.”

Then, one day, much later, I saw her sitting in front of me on a plane from Boston to London. I had to make sure that she was who I thought she was. By that time, I knew she was married to SF some guy in England, and I was already firmly in the hands of my wife-to-be. So I just asked if she was Lee Remick. She said yes she was. I just said I was a long-time fan, and wouldn't bother her further. She had this smile that could melt titanium ore (much like my wife does). I heard later that she died at 55 of liver cancer.

Although I am normally attracted to Latin, Turkish or Oriental women, two blonde women had always fascinated me. Lee Remick was one of them. I married the other one.
